BASIC REMIDE AT HOME WITH MATERIAL AVAILABLE AT HOME

1.LEMON

The truth about lemon juice and acne:

Many believe that lemon juice is the miracle cure for acne. We looked into the details of using lemon juice as an acne treatment and have brought you the results: how it works, the pros and cons, and how to use it if you want to give it a try.

How lemon juice helps acne:

Lemon juice does have some acne fighting qualities and can be a cheap way to try and clear your skin. Here are the primary benefits of lemon juice and acne:
Reduces oil: The acid in lemon juice has mildly astringent qualities. The astringents work by constricting the body tissues and pushing the oil out of your skin.
Kills bacteria: The citric acid of lemon juice also acts as an antiseptic. Since bacteria have a difficult time adjusting to acidic environments, the lemon juice can help reduce the number of bacteria that are living inside or on top of your skin.
Cheap: All it costs you is a couple of lemons and some cotton balls to apply it.
Reduces redness: Many find that applying an astringent like lemon juice greatly reduces the redness caused by acne.
Scar therapy: Some believe lemon juice is a natural way to reduce scars caused by acne. There is no clinical research to support this claim, however.

How to prepare and apply lemon juice:

If you still want to give lemon juice a try, these are the best practices:
Wash your face: Gently rub lukewarm water and a mild soap on your skin using your fingertips. Wash with warm water and allow your skin to dry for 5-10 minutes.
Create treatment: Cut a fresh lemon in half and squeeze each half into a bowl.
Apply treatment: Dip a cotton ball into the freshly squeezed juice. Dab the wet cotton ball to your affected area. A small stinging or itching sensation is normal. If the stinging is unmanageable add water to the solution to dilute the acidity.
Wait 20 minutes and rinse: Allow the lemon juice to dry, letting your skin absorb all of the acids. After 20 to 30 minutes rinse your face with warm water. Apply moisturizer if necessary.

💡BEST TIP: don"t use preserved the lemon juice. always use fresh lemon juice.

Acne recipes/remedies using turmeric

Basic Recipe of turmeric for acne
Take 4 tablespoons turmeric powder and to this add 1 tablespoon milk and 4 tablespoons, raw honey. Stir this mix in a clean bowel until it becomes a smooth paste.
Keep this mix in the refrigerator to cool.
An alternate set of ingredients is – 8 tablespoons turmeric powder mixed with 5 tablespoons olive oil or sesame oil. Mix these in a clean bowl until a smooth and creamy paste is formed.
The rest of the treatment steps are the same for both types of turmeric acne pastes.
Take a long hot shower to soften your skin using mild shower gel or bath soap. Avoid all medicated, glycerin and antibacterial products that can dry out the skin.
While in the shower, take a washcloth and dip it in very hot water (as much as your hands can stand). Apply the hot wash cloth directly on affected areas for at least 5 minutes.
This will help to bring pus in inflamed acne lesions to the surface. Now pat your skin dry.
Use your fingers and apply the turmeric paste to the dry, soft skin, using gentle massaging motion. Massage for at least 10 minutes. Leave this to dry overnight.
The turmeric will dry and become stiff like a mask. This action will reduce the acne size. Rinse the dried paste in the morning. Turmeric will stain clothes.
So use old clothes and bed sheets when following this treatment. Turmeric will also leave a yellowish tinge on the skin. To clear this, wipe these areas with a cotton ball dipped in a few drops of a mild facial toner.
Turmeric and yogurt
For this turmeric acne mask, take 2 teaspoons of yogurt and combine this with ½ teaspoon turmeric powder and a small quantity of honey.
Yoghurt that is rich in lactic acid acts as a gentle exfoliator. Apply this mask on the face for the ½ hour and rinse off after this.
Organic facial mask with turmeric
This is a good mask for acne-prone skin. Take ½ teaspoon sandalwood powder and ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder. Combine these two powders with 2 tablespoons curd until you get a smooth paste.
Apply this gently on pimples and lie down for at least 20 minutes. Wash this off with warm water. Finally splash on some cold water, dry your skin and apply a suitable moisturizer.
Always clean the affected areas or take a steam bath or warm shower to open up clogged pores.
Relax with your mask for the required time. Place cooled down chamomile teabags, cotton pads dipped in lavender or rose water or cucumber slices on your eyes to give a wonderful relaxing feeling.
Turmeric and oatmeal mask
Oatmeal is a great exfoliator. Combine 1 tablespoon each of oatmeal flour and lentil powder and ½ teaspoon turmeric.
Mix these in fresh water, make a smooth paste and apply on the skin. Leave for 20 minutes and wash off as before.

💡BEST TIP: grate turmeric at home by stone.to have more power to react on acne.

4.ROSEWATER

The best way to use rose water for acne is to use as a wash for pimples on the dry skin. Using rose water and lemon juice together is even better. Don’t use rose water if you have rosacea. Any kind of essential oil can aggravate rosacea, and treat your pores and the surface level of your skin really does not resolve rosacea.
Pour out 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of rose water into a clean bowl. Add the juice squeezed from one lemon. This will probably be about 30 ml (2 tablespoons). Set the bowl aside in a convenient place while you cleanse your skin. You will need a clean soft washcloth and a clean towel for what comes next.
Wash your face with your usual cleanser. Rinse off the cleanser with warm water and pat your face dry with a clean towel. Then place the clean soft washcloth into the mixture of rose water and lemon juice until it is soaked, close your eyes, and place the rose water-soaked wash cloth over your face. Moisten your skin with the mixture and allow to dry. Wait 15 minutes, and then rinse the residue off your skin with warm water and pat dry again.
The rose water in this combination stimulates the growth of skin around pimples and helps them open naturally and heal. The lemon juice removes dead cells from the surface of the skin and also helps pores open. Stimulating the growth of skin should bring out natural skin tones in greater color and depth. The surface of your skin should be more matte and smooth. If you notice your skin looking shinier than normal after using the combination, then use half as much rose water next time.

💡BEST TIP: use wild red rose water. try to make it at home.
